Hello pagan-podcast enthusiasts!
I just wanted to share with you all the things I’ve been working on behind-the-scenes here at The List.
I’m working hard trying to fix and improve the general layout, and especially re-work the mobile version of the site (I know, I know, it’s so bad, you guys, halp, omgs, I’m so sorry), which is long overdue. I will be sure to announce when I’ve made some significant progress with that. I’m also working on some new features—like new sorting options, dynamic displays, listening capability, and more!
In the meantime, I’m trying, emphasis on trying, to keep up with all of you Pagan-podcasters and your shenanigans! There are new shows to add to The List, and other shows that need re-sorting. (I’d love your help! If you have the time and know about a show that isn’t listed, go ahead and submit it! Thanks in advance!)
I would also love to expand our categories to include some new and fun ways of finding great podcasts. Our current categories are: Active (shows that are alive and well), Hiatus (shows that have temporarily halted production), and Podfaded (the dearly-departed shows, gone but never forgotten, RIP). These production-based categories are the foundation of our index, so they’re not going anywhere…but…what if we could include sub-categories? When I asked myself that question, my mind exploded with ideas! Here are some of the sub-category concepts I’ve been batting around: New & Noteworthy, Old Favorites, Essential Classics, Featured/Spotlight, and (my favorite idea) Wildcard!
Let me know what you think, and feel free to add your own ideas to the mix! The site has become my main outlet for community service, and I want it to be useful and innovative. We are a small team here at The List, and progress can be a little slow because of that…but this site is important to us and we will always be here for you. Have a question? Got a suggestion? Want to file a grievance? Well, if you’re one of the first two, then go ahead and contact us! I read all your emails faithfully, and I really appreciate the love and support.
Yours Faithfully in Love and Podcasting,
Moz (the techie one)
